Daily Chat & Ultrasound Thread - July 11, 2017

Yeah, I've actually done a ton of research from brand-specific to blogs and learning about my own washer/dryer and the diapers we have. I have the internet, too, MIL! It's not your secret window into knowledge! Plus today she called and said she wanted to buy us something from Prime Day but my registry was messed up and she couldn't add it to her basket. Then she said FIL couldn't remember his password to Amazon. Um.. yeah, maybe the issue isn't with my registry, maybe it's with you.. lol

The problem is, she's always helpful, it's not like she stands in the way of doing things, but it's too much. We told her we were looking to buy a house, and her response was that she had to be involved in every step, from looking at the houses to signing paperwork, so that we didn't do anything "wrong." Um, my husband and I are both adults in our 30s who have been on our own for 10+ years, are educated, served in the military overseas for years.. like, we can handle ourselves. Her helpfulness always makes me think she doesn't trust us or that she thinks we're morons.
