I notice a lot of people worry about their performance on these and I'd just like to point out that the reason companies give candidates leetcode's is because they serve as a subsitute for a straight up IQ test.

Once you're in the frame of realizing that you're being IQ tested you should then probably ask yourself if the company you're applying for warrants an expectation of hiring the percentile genius they demand. Some leetcode hards can only realistically be solved by 1% of candidates. So if a non fortune 500 company is trying to hire 99th percentile geniuses that should be a red flag.

It's not unreasonable to expect some top companies to have a rigorous leetcode structure because they're in a position to be able to hire 90th-99th percentile geniuses competitvely.

However it's best to realize that the vast majority of people will fall in the 40th-70th percentile range which are really where most leetcode easy's and the lighter mediums fall.

So if you're struggling with the Hard's and some Mediums don't be overwhelmed and realize that those are meant for a very specific type of candidate for a specific type of company and if a company that's mid tier expects all their candidates to be 90th-99th percentile geniuses that's probably not a place anyone with any common sense should be working at.
