Daily Community Chat Megathread

Great, well, in most adult lives, being around people you don't trust is a requirement and necessary to functioning in the world. Like I said, when I supervised a whole group of people, I didn't fully trust them. Supervision, evidence gathering, oversight, etc, is required for all humans. Everyone will take advantage of systems for their own benefit, no matter how good or righteous you think they are.

You do not love them only cause you trust them. You love them for a whole host of reasons, some of which are ingrained biology, precursors for the past, you know, epigenetics or whatever. So no. You love people in your own little proximity cause that's how human brains are wired, to love and accept tribe. But that has very little to do with blind trust.
