Daily Coronavirus Megathread - 06 October 2021

Out of curiosity I’d like to know some people in this subreddits opinions/thoughts on a few things related to the vaccine!

Do you think that because Vaccines have been pushed largely across mainstream media as being the only real way to fight Covid that it justifies the censoring of the many other alternative options? (Ivermectin as a main example) - Whether or not you believe there are alternatives that are viable options; I strongly believe that we should all have the option to explore alternative medicines and have complete transparency in the results of the alternatives rather than the blatant censorship we have experienced.

The idea that we may be incapable of making a sound decision on the matter or are too susceptible to misinformation and so therefore should only be shown one (or at least mostly one) narrative (get the vaccine) on the majority of peoples main news outlets, which coincidentally happens to be an extremely profitable method for many known ‘corrupt’ big-pharma companies, completely blows my mind and yet is almost completely ignored in conversation between other 20 year olds that I know.

With the hospitalisation/death rates in ages 16-30 especially and the fact that the vaccine does not stop the spread to a reasonable degree, I don’t understand how so many can be so easily pushed into fearing a virus which appears to be slightly more dangerous than the common cold for younger people that they completely ignore the company who is profiting, the billions of single use plastics and all the other factors
