Daily Discussion - (January 24)

I should trade CMG more often. It moves so predictably. It should reverse at 546.6 when it eventually gets there, for the first time at least. A strong break of 530.54 can be a safe pullback buy if it does retrace, which it usually does.

/u/shortstrangles hope I'm not bothering you too much, but the volatility crush normalization/reversion based on TA which I mentioned yesterday is happening as we speak. VXX and /ES change ratio is very different; equity is flat while vol dies. But it makes complete sense; VXX opened below resistance, tried to recapture, and drops. I didn't trade it though, as I'm still bearish, so I'd prefer to trade only the bear setups. I don't think this selloff will be as intense as recent previous ones, assuming it does.
