The evidence is there that Bitcoin uses a huge amount of energy and this energy usage will only increase as block rewards reduce and computations get more difficult.

People always say the banks and money printers are worse, but when you consider that most economies are fast moving towards being cashless and the vast majority of banking is done electronically already, traditional finance is most likely to be much more efficient than Bitcoin on a per capita basis.

Businesses that aren't sustainable will die over the next generation. Banks, vaults and skyscrapers among other sectors all have plans to move to low or zero carbon. What is Bitcoin's plan?
