RIP Living Armor.

Unless you’re duplicating it or removing its consume it’s not much more than a 1 turn freebie against annoying effects, but with Permafrost making it great at the perfect freebie and drastically cutting its draw cost, it’s usually a pretty safe, if underwhelming, grab.

That being said, it absolutely dominating Living Armor, and Seraph the Patient to a lesser extent, makes it an instant take whenever I see it. There aren’t many cards that 100% counter a boss, but this is one of them. While this is definitely a super narrow niche that will only impact a run 50% of the time, not having to worry about one of the trickiest and potentially deadliest late game bosses in the game at all is such a welcome relief. So yeah, RIP Living Armor.
