Do you think United have the potential to “do a Liverpool”?.

When you look at the demise of Liverpool in the 90’s. The resemblance to United now is genuinely scary.

Poor ownership, poor finances, poor management, poor squad, aging stadium in need of repair / refreshment, mounting debt and interest in debt and the lack of silverware / competitiveness turning away the best players and the biggest money and making the situation even worse.

I’m not saying United will go over 30 years without a title but, they’re well over 7 now and looking at that squad and the owners / recruitment strategy / management I genuinely can’t see them winning in the next 3-5 years minimum.

I know it’s mental to say things like that because of their size but if you said the same thing about Liverpool at the turn of the decade in the 90’s you would have been laughed at too.
