Daily Discussion for February 27th // {optional} Triumphant Tuesday

Mostly the stuff related to marriage: Prennups are worthless and you're going to get cleaned out during a divorce. Also that it's perfectly reasonable to want to keep 100%of the money you earned during the relationship together, because all that matters are dollars and not career sacrifices, emotional support, household labor, etc. Anything other than a split based on your W-2 is highway robbery.

Messy divorces happen but I suspect that most are fine. Likewise most of the posts from actual lawyers I've read (r/legaladvice etc)indicate a properly drafted and executed prenup is a valid legal contract that will be upheld by the courts. They do get thrown out if you're being a dick and doing things in bad faith.

Also just in general how creepy and misogynistic it is over there sometimes. When a woman posts there's always a few "your SO must be so lucky to have you," and "man, none of the women in my [state/country] are good with money at all," comment.

Some of em definitely are bud, they just don't want to date you because relationships are more than money, and you seem really fucking weird.
