How long have you guys been sick? I've been sick with moderate symptoms for more than 2 weeks, approaching 3, and I was mildly sick (like a cold, but still could cook/ go on with my life, whereas the past 3 weeks I've been bedridden) for 2 weeks before this (so almost 5 weeks!) and although I am trying to stay positive, I feel like I will never see an end to this sickness. I am 23/ f, no preexisting conditions (healthy weight as well) so I can't get a test. I've been to the doctor 3 times (GP put me on antibiotic, symptoms worsened, got tested for everything besides corona (including mono, also not asthma), all came back negative, my vitals were fine as of a week ago, most recently prescribed me a steroid but I'm afraid to take it if I do have corona since I've read it can have negative effects) and the ER once already (ER doctor said it's likely I could have corona but cannot test me because I haven't been in critical condition). No fever, no cough. Horrible, awful lung pain. Sometimes it's so bad all I want to do is curl up in a ball and not breathe or move until it's over. Sometimes the pain is concentrated and acute and other times it's my entire chest/ lung area. I have a difficult time breathing, all the time. Feels like I am drowning or something stuck in my throat. At its worst, I have coarse shallow breaths and it is an effort to breathe. When it's not as bad, I feel congested, my throat is closed but there's not any mucus. I've also had headaches and sharp pain in my hands, sometimes when this is happening I struggle to make a fist. Lots of lethargy. I have been resting, eating healthy, trying my hardest to recover quicker but each morning I wake up I either feel better and my condition deteriorates throughout the day, feel worse or feel the same. I just want this to be over.
