Daily Discussion: /r/Snowboarding General Discussion, Q&A, Advice, Etc.) -- February 16, 2019

I’ve recently developed pain in my outer knee of front leg while riding. Maybe I’m getting old (I’m 28) and this is par for the course, or maybe something isn’t quite right.

I adjusted the stance on my front binding but it didn’t seem to make a difference. I notice it most while riding the lift and my board is either dangling from my front leg or rested awkwardly on the bar, and when skating off the lift and I’m putting more pressure on my front leg. But by the end of the day, it’s difficult to carve because I’m feeling the pain.

Any suggestions for tweaks to my set up or techniques that could help alleviate this? Any stretches or things to do at the gym to help prevent it from getting painful in the first place?
