I heard swishing mouthwash gets rid of it in your throat (before infection). Does it matter what mouthwash you use? Listerine and the expensive ones have alcohol, but ideally I'd use the cheap stuff.

I searched on the sub and found this. Listerine says it won't kill the virus, but I'm looking to remove the viral load from my throat before it infects me every time I come home.

Then I read the Metro and BGR, which mentions a bunch of ingredients in mouthwash, which non-alcoholic versions have as well.

Also, does Sterimar in the nose do the same thing as mouthwash in the mouth?
