Lucky you. Now, after I asked why they do not honor their promotion, they have closed the new accounts, claiming that my family members violated the terms, i.e. they have multiple accounts. This is a joke. Perhaps this is because my family members signed up with the same address that I have on file, but still ridiculous, given they are separate individuals (and should be allowed to have separate accounts). Due to the account closing, the payments they sent already will be also cancelled. This is another huge headache.

On top of the whole story, you cannot even reach the company via phone, only chat and e-mail.

I already had bad feelings about parking my monies with this company for 1 month periods (until checks are cashed) given that they could file a bankruptcy anytime, and then I lose my money, but now I feel even more reluctant, having seen their systemic errors, their incompetency and lack of customer support.

Also, I heard that Amex is cracking down on Plastiq payments, so another reason for me to let them go.

Do we have a competitor?
