B-air → up-tilt/f-tilt/grab (depending on your positioning and how your opponent responds) is a very useful option, and when mixed up with tomahawk Cross Smash/grab/f-tilt, Cross Slash 1/2 → option select, standard b-air/f-air shield pressure, etc., you see why Cloud's pressure is so strong and why people are afraid of fishing for unrewarding parries. The character controls so much space and with such oppression that you're constantly being forced into defensive options. That's why I find landing grabs with Cloud easy despite how unsafe the move appears in a vacuum—people are being conditioned to hold shield so often that you land grabs anyway and are then rewarded with an incredible positioning advantage. Add Limit into the mix and you have the neutral/advantage state monster that is Cloud (and with an extremely underrated disadvantage state at that).
