hey bois, not body building related whatsoever but I wanted to get an unbiased opinion on something: My pops and uncle are US veterans (pops is a disabled vet), and i've always felt a bit guilty for never actually serving and I admire those who have. i'm not in the position to enter the service anymore, but I run a small business and its seen some decent success and I was thinking about donating a percentage of my profits next month to a legit veteran's charity. Here's my question: should I announce this on my businesses normal marketing avenues (facebook, instagram, linkedin, etc.)? Or does that look scummy? I'd even be open to announce how much I was able to donate at the end of the month so as to be as transparent as possible. The negatives to this are I'm afraid people might think I am only announcing it for attention or for added revenue. I'd be happy to silently and anonymously donate but I feel like without announcing it, it wouldn't be maximizing the potential donation at the end of the month. I do want to bring attention to the fact that I support our military and I want to donate as much as possible but I don't want it to come across in the wrong light... what would you think if you saw a local business do this? thanks for your feedback!
