Daily Discussion Thread: 09/17/2018

Hey guys!

I’m on a sports team and the coach believes in doing sit-ups and other ab work. The thing is, I build muscle easily from high rep low weight stuff, and I don’t want to mess with my taper by building up my midsection (especially not my obliques... god). I personally think they’re pretty useless as well. My abs are already defined, and I don’t want size in my midsection. At all. It’s the one place I don’t want bigger. What I’m doing is working and I’m bikini, so ab hypertrophy really isn’t one of my main goals. Could anyone please come up with a good excuse for skipping out of these exercises? Nothing too severe that would keep me from playing the sport as well. (Rowing, btw).
