Savage Mode 2 is average at best IMO. How easy is it to impress you guys ?(to those who liked it). Samey lyrical content and being monotone are trademark 21, but I just feel like these hooks are particularly underwritten and some of these flows were awkward. Thug was not made for that beat. Token drake feature. Young Nudy feature was actually decent. Ngl Morgan freeman got me hyped for snitches and rats but it didn’t deliver. Snitches and rats, and a lot of tracks in this album are just a particular loop and some 808s. Combined with how one dimensional 21 already is, it’s just...boring. There’s this three song stretch that I was ducking with (stepping - no opp), but other than that, I cannot see myself coming back to this album.
