Daily Discussion Thread 12/09/2015

1: Chief Keef: Nothing, and I really mean nothing, interesting about his lyrics. He just talks about having guns and doing crime, all with the same flows and without any interesting use of language. And if one more person call's it a stream of consciousness flow... gaaaaaaahhhhh! Fuck people who does this! It could be interesting, if it was applied to someone with an interesting conscious, but Keef doesn't even seem to have a conscious. When he says 300, I think he's counting his brain cells.

2: Big Sean: He's just so bland. It's like he listened to bling rap in the early 2000's and thought it was something to strive towards (but only really in the thematic sense). I also think he was the first person created in the Mayan creation myth, cause he's corny as fuck.

3: Future: I don't give a fuck about him being depressed, if he can't deliver it in an interesting way. None of his beats matches his subject matter, and you can't hear what he says anyway. It's mumbelcore in every sense of the word. See Earl Sweatshirt if you want depression and addiction to be delivered in an interesting way. Future is about as deep as a fucking saucer. Passion is never an excuse for complete lack of talent, which this guy has.

4: Every member of A$AP Mob except for Rocky and Ferg: They are just not interesting in any way. I can't remember a single line any of them have ever delivered, and they always seem to have a hard time staying on flow, plus none of them have any sign of interesting personality. Lords Never Worry isn't a project that gives me hope for the future of the Mob. I'm fine with Rocky and Ferg.

5: Tyga: I didn't know who else to put here, but Tyga is horrible enough to deserve the spot. When no one on /r/hiphopheads likes you, you know you done fucked up.

Honorable mention: Travi$ Scott is really not interesting, but i wouldn't even call him a rapper. He's just a musician.
