Responding to /u/Badgewick, /u/TYTisFakeNews, and /u/ExcellentOdysseus, I was a treble soprano in classical music for five years from 9-13 and I met at a young age plenty of famous but toxic shouting conductors who had rods up their asses like Pieter-Jan Leusink or Andreas Stoehr. You'll learn to laugh about it or quit. It's about the product of your work, not about the person which directs you. I recognise that their methods might have been considered destructive by some but they have also nurtured me in some larger, more general way. What I'm saying is: toxic behaviour is toxic behaviour, but not all things are black and white. Anyhow, I care about what you guys think about this issue and about my personal position in this whole complete mess, so I wanted to share this in order to make you understand a bit more where my position comes from.
