Can we agree as a sub to not speak on what we don’t know?

The other night, LaMelo made 14pts, was -17 +/- had a bunch of turnovers and a high volume night. In GS, he would have been benched by Kerr which would have triggered LaVar Ball.

You do know James Borrego spent the first month or so of the season benching him for lack of defensive effort and excessive turnovers right? Where was LaVar then? I haven’t heard about him in 2-3 years.

LaMelo would not have been “LaMelo” in GS and people would have been clamoring for Wiseman.

Why? Why would anyone be clamoring for Wiseman? Who would be setting him up in Charlotte? Rozier? Graham?

The reality is that rookies don’t enjoy any freedom in GS like they do on other teams.

And yet Wiseman started for most of the games he played and called for useless post touches while doing it.

Face it, Kerr didn’t want Wiseman, the front office did. There’s way too much smoke, from the numerous reports on draft night about what our selection was going to be from LaMelo himself, Jalen Rose, J Kyle Mann, Zach Lowe and a lot of other insiders.

Kerr has won 3 championships running this motion system so in his mind he’s going to make guys fit his system. Not cater to the skills of a rookie.

You do realize LaMelo is pass first right? He doesn’t pound the rock constantly. He is always looking for the hit ahead or those tiny windows in the half court to hit open teammates. Wiseman has one notable assist in the NBA and one total in college.

This singularly was the issue with Wiseman. You don’t draft a guy like this and play him like ZaZa. They should have been catering to Wiseman’s strengths from day 1, not a week before he gets injured.

So you contradicted yourself? First you say you don’t cater to a rookies skill set when it comes to Ball but take issue in their handling of how Wiseman was used?
