Daily Discussion Thread. No Games Today. Toronto up 3-2 on Milwaukee. All NBA Teams Announced Yesterday. Golden State defeated Portland 4-0.

On one hand, I think the Bucks just look young.

They’re playing bad positional defense, they’re doing fouls that like... I dunno how to put this. They keep getting dumb fouls that I think they expect are just “playoff physicality” but are just slightly over the line. Like they don’t quite get how playoff basketball works.

They’re running the offense badly. They’re missing a wide open shooter on so many plays, just kicking out but not finding the right man.

They’re making bad rotations and closeouts defensively. Despite being all about nothing at the rim, this team doesn’t usually get efficient looks rained on them because they’re really long and good at recovering.

I kinda get why Bud would stick with it. If his teams executes what they’re doing, they’ll win. They’re getting better every game.

But Toronto is figuring them out faster than they’re figuring themselves out and I would hate to see them lose 4 games straight because they were too proud to adjust or add anything new. That kind of shit is disheartening.

Toronto is also really well build to exploit how they play- lots of size to contest drives, lots of shooting to knock down the shots they allow.

really curious what happens in game 6
