So I get that the ~10% that is shows crypto being at is 10% of the maximum adoption we can expect, not 10% of the population. Still, I find it hard to believe that only 10x as many people in the united states could end up using crypto as do today.

I mean, just look at this thread. Look at the minefields (exchanges, technical challenges, etc) that people have to deal with just to get on board.

If/When we hit the point where you can log in to your online banking and see a "Bitcoin Checking Account" right next to your USD checking account, and do everything you need to do with bitcoin the exact same way that you do what you need to do with fiat (credit cards, venmo, etc.), then I believe the usage would jump by much more than 1000% for that reason alone.

I would say we are at about 10% of people who can possibly survive the steep learning curve of getting into crypto as crypto stands today. For true worldwide style adoption where our grandparents can use it with ease, it's nowhere near 10%.
