I don't work in tech, so that's all Greek to me. But I do work in a technical field, so I'll say this: the vast majority of people right out of school (even the ones who work internships) really don't know jack about how anything works when they first start.

So while it might be tempting to assess all the flaws you see in your new employer based on your limited experience, I would suggest you'll get more out of it by taking a more humble attitude towards the work.

A year in a less than ideal work environment won't kill you. Take it as an opportunity to learn, and if you still don't like it a year in you can take what you've learned and leverage it into a better position elsewhere rather than settling for half your earning potential now.
