I got home last night and someone had parked in my parking space. I called the tow company but they said it would be "a while" because they were busy towing for the city. Parking is really difficult in my neighborhood; a spot here rents for $200+/mo normally (my spot came with my condo so it's part of my property). I ended up having to park a ways away and walk home, which not what I wanted to do at the end of an 18 hour day.

Just woke up and the car is still here... I guess I should call the tow company and see if I'm still in the queue? I'm not even sure what to do, honestly. I'm guessing all the tow companies are equally backlogged. I saw a Reddit thread from a while back by someone in my city who said it took a full 18 hours to get someone towed from their spot. I might try talking to the building management company and see what they say.
