Daily FI discussion thread - January 11, 2017

I have a question about mint due to a cancelled/reissued credit card from a fraud case:

I have a citibank costco visa which on Saturday (4 days ago) had a fraud charge. They immediately cancelled the card and shipped me a new card.

In mint, both cards are showing up with the balance (let's say $500) so it's double counting. I logged into citibank.com and saw both have the balance. Does anyone have experience with what the expectation here is? Do I pay the balance on the new one or the old one? Will it resolve itself in a few days?

As far as mint goes, I am worried that I will lose my transaction history. On citibank.com, it keeps prompting me to unlink the account from my user ID -- "Would you like to remove it from your online account summary? If so, please note that you'll no longer have access to the account history." I'm worried if I do click yes, then I will lose all the transaction history in mint which would be totally screwed.

Anyone have experience with this type of thing that can warn me before I make a huge mistake?
