I changed jobs the beginning of this year. Put in my move request well before Christmas (mid-December). Actually physically moved to the new desk the first week of January, with only my laptop and docking station in tow. Still have not received my monitors or other effects. I've been emailing back and forth with Facilities for weeks now. I sent them an email at 7:00 this morning and have not heard back yet... I think they might be ignoring me at this point.

I've been using my laptop keyboard which has a slightly broken spacebar and is slowly driving me insane. I tried to steal a monitor from an empty cube, but my laptop takes DisplayPort, the monitor takes VGA, and the only cables I could find were DVI and USB. I didn't order a cable or an adapter because IT is shit and I knew they were most likely going to send me the wrong thing and that it was going to take 3 weeks anyway. I (foolishly) assumed that would receive my stuff before then. I could do what my coworker did and just bring in my own cables, but at this point it's the principle of the thing.

I do have my own tiny desk in an open office, but I know you mean about being paid too much too much to be unproductive, and feeling like the company doesn't give a shit.
