Decent chance? Nah I don’t think so. Not for at least a year or two anyways. Don’t get me wrong I would loooove for it to happen, but there has been absolutely no suggestion from rockstar it would happen yet, and they would have many more things on the list to improve/add before I think they would consider adding cross play functionality.

I think it It is great that the first steps toward cross platform multiplayer have been made by epic games and ms/Sony/Nintendo, but I think ultimately we are still pretty far away from it being a normal industry standard. Not until some more games pick it up anyway, but fortnite is not really a good comparison since it is in a league of its own right now in terms of popularity
