Qotd: my first kiss was sweet. Shitty circumstances though.

I was in junior high, but had come to the high school one morning for a JROTC four year inspection only to find out it was cancelled because one of my friends had killed himself.

The Junior High students had to wait like 2 hours for the buses to arrive to take us back to our school, but meanwhile I had changed back into my civvies. Just crying, wandering around. I walked out of one of the classrooms to see another friend's older brother, standing with some girl I didn't know. He and I had a flirtationship, but he wouldn't date me because I was his little sister's friend and it would be too weird.

But I saw him at the end of the hall, and he saw me, and I just took off, ran down the hall straight for him, and he held onto me and let me cry, and then he kissed me on the forehead. We didn't make out or anything. He just let me know he cared about me and hated seeing me so sad, even if his morals wouldn't let him go further than that, and that was enough. I did feel bad for the girl that was with him though. He didn't even introduce me and she just stood there fidgeting lol
