Daily Headphone Purchase Advice thread

Hey everyone, I bought my first pair of headphones less than a month ago, the Superlux HD668Bs, and slapped some velour earpads on them. And although it's a much appreciated upgrade coming from some random Best Buy IEMs, it's a bit underwhelming imo.

Budget- I'd say about $90. Although that's actually far above what I want to be paying, I understand that you have to pay for quality, but I also don't mind buying used off of craigslist or /r/AVexchange or /r/hardwareswap Source- Onboard Audio, Smartphone Isolation- I'd like a lot of isolation without having the soundstage suffer (I'm not exactly sure what the relation between isolation and soundstage is; I just know that open headphones will have a wider soundstage than closed headphones) since I've heard people ask me to turn it down with the semi-open 668Bs. Preferred Headphone Type- Full Sized Closed Over Ear Preferred Tonal Balance- I'd like a very warm sounding headphone without sacrificing any mids or highs; I'll elaborate more in the preferred music section. Past Headphones- I find the Superlux 668Bs (with added velour earpads and the foam insert from the original pads) to be somewhat boring I guess you could say. I have found that in my efforts to "find the bass line" in songs I turn the volume all the way up, but as a result I get the occasional piercing high that makes me cringe ever so slightly. I also find that sometimes I wish I could turn up the volume even higher on some videos on youtube. That might be because they're 56 ohm headphones, but I really don't know how much of a difference there would be with maybe a 32 ohm headphone. Preferred Music- I really focus on edm, dubstep, classical, classic/indie/punk/alt rock, and some funk, but I do listen to a bit of everything else. I also LOVE me a good bass guitar line, but I find that when I listen to the song, I kind of have to close my eyes and focus to really find it and if it's possible, I'd like to not have to do that, if that makes any sense. For a quick example, I just listened to Good Times by Chic and the bass line just seems muted/muffled. Whether that was just the style of music or because it was the headphones themselves, idk. I like my bass, I like it prominent and thumping, but I really don't want any of the mids or highs to suffer because of it.
