I’m singing at my brother’s wedding soon, and he asked when I would prefer the song to be (ceremony vs reception) and I said ceremony. 2 weeks later he texts saying they think it would be more special to have it after the first dances during the reception so people can dance, but said that it’s up to me and what I am comfortable with.

I still would prefer to do it during the ceremony bc I think it makes more sense and also then I can sort of do it right away and then enjoy the reception and not be nervous (singing after the first dance would mean 3 hours later). But, it’s my brother’s wedding, so should I just do what he and his fiancé want? I’m just torn since they did leave it to me
