Daily OT Sep 19 Hugs & Support ❤️

I was up to like 20+ drinks a day every day. My motivation is a little personal but had a pretty public embarrassment that put stuff in perspective.

I went to AA every day for about a month. After that it felt like a switch flipped, never went back and just hit 3 years last month. Just my opinion but if you feel like you need to quit drinking, you’d probably benefit from doing so.

AA is definitely stringent in some ways but you don’t have to work the steps to benefit. Just having a group available almost anywhere at any time where I could talk about stuff w/o being judged or even close to the most fucked up person in the room was huge. Good luck! It’s not easy, but it gets a lot easier over time.
