Someone on Twitter pointed out that the Bernie bros were all initially saying oh it doesn't matter that Jones is a Dem, he's just going to vote with the GOP all the time. Obviously not true, but then some rose on Twitter snottily responded "sure, he's just the fourth most conservative senator, he votes more than half the time with Trump anyway." It was just so emblematic of the tunnel vision that rose Twitter has, because he's not wrong, Jones is the 4th most conservative DEM senator. But it's like this guy forgot entirely about the entire Republican party and how they actually control the Senate in his quest to put down Jones. The phrasing really, really set me off.
