It is worth noting that reports of misinformation go to the moderators of the sub not to Reddit admins. I know some sub moderators (obviously not this one!) ignore all reports of misinformation as they feel like they cannot distinguish between new and controversial vs actually misinformation. We clearly take a different view and do not agree with these other moderators opinions (I can understand why some may be difficult but I have personally reported blatant misinformation on some subs before and been told the report will not be actioned as they (a different sub) have a blanket policy). Not saying that’s the view that r/uk takes, I don’t know the sub really, but worth bearing in mind when reading Reddit as a whole…
