Daily Q&A Megathread - January 16, 2021

This got deleted everywhere else so I’ll try here I guess - I live in Sussex on the south coast and we’re currently at the height of deaths and admissions during the pandemic. I work in a hospital and it’s been stressful as fuck. I find it very confusing how supermarkets can justify removing the one way system but will give you some glorified fairy liquid to sanitise your trolley at the door. I find it incredibly perplexing how you are supposed to socially distance with several people on either side of most isles meaning you have to walk through the centre of them as well as entering the isle from both ends willy nilly. Reminds me of hazard perception part of the driving test.

Am I in the minority being confused and annoyed at this? Was it to appease moaners or is there some science involved - are Tescos simply “following the science”? Seems like utter blind idiocy.
