I’m planning for a vacation to one of the Caribbean countries next year, probably around February or March. What’d you do to churn enough points for 2 people to fly there and back to Toronto?

My current setup is: - cobalt, I’ve had it for 2 months. Currently having 32k MR points - might open CIBC VI aeroplan today so I can get 50k bonus on time. Then cancel the card right after the vacation and before the annual renewal.

For context, we just moved to a new house so there’s a lot of big purchases like new furniture and stuff. We could easily spend 4k a month for the next 2 months. But normally, our spending is only about 1k-1k2 per month.
