What type of shorts should I be wearing? Basically all my jeans/pants are Levi 511 (dark, light, acid wash, even commuter khaki). I wear v-neck shirts, button down shirts, and either AirMax or Chukka. I'm a pretty simple dude.. I tend to wear cotton type shorts, I like them short (couple inches above the knee) but they are all some old impromptu finds. As you can see by my other garments I like to stick to a thing that works.. So any suggestions? Something I can wear with a t-shirt, or button down, with my AirMax or my slippers. My button down shirts tend to be loud, though as the trend seems to be loud shirts im finding more dull options but its pretty much been this way the last 15 years for me.

TL;DR: looking for a versatile short I can wear with t-shirts and casual button downs.. I know nothing about shorts.
