with the comfort of more baggy jeans(doesn't restrict your crotch).

It's the low rise that restricts your crotch area which is common on skinny jean and slim jeans. This is a common misconception I see that people think, baggy= more comfortable and more room in the crotch. If the crotch of your pants is uncomfortable you need more rise not something baggy. Rise is super important to a well fitting and flattering looking pair of jeans that people often neglect.

If the tapered jeans are good for you in the top block and knee why not just get them hemmed and tapered more? Going for that low rise skinny fit from Gustin just to get a small leg opening doesn't make sense to me you'll just be making your pants look funny in the top block with your ass hanging out if you op for a waist that's larger than what you need that rise onm the skinny is way too low for you.

Honestly the Gustin straights would work for you I bet if you want that deal. I have em and they are higher rise but still quite slim in the top. Then just send em to railcar or something to get em hemmed and tapered more.
