so replaying the game on a new character so i could redo the story, and i had a question.

in hw, how did they come to the conclusion that all ishgardians were equal? (i know this is worded so bad) like previously, they had high borns and low borns because the idea was that the true descendants can be traced to the original founders of ishgard, and low borns are not (?) im guessing. but somewhere after meeting with hresv, they came to the conclusion that everyone is descended from them and it can be proved if they consume dragons blood. not sure i understand that part.

also, wtf is up with the pope's and his knights death. was it always this disappointing? i was hoping there was a more direct revenge sequence with ser zephirin for haurchefant. :c
