I already have ARR and Heavensward on my Square-Enix account. I don't have any characters/items on the account that I care about.

I was thinking of coming back to the game, but with the Steam sale going on it seems like it would make much more sense to just buy the complete edition bundle which comes with FFXIV starter edition, 30 days game time, and Shadowbringers for only $24.

My other option is to buy Shadowbringers from the Square store for $40, then pay $15 for a 1 month sub.

It seems like the obvious choice is to just start a new account on Steam, but I'm not sure how it works exactly. I don't see any options in the Mog station for 'Steam Version', etc. Am I going to be able to register the Steam version on my existing Square account? Is there going to be an issue since the e-mail I use for Steam is already registered with Square? Just not sure how the process works or the best way to go about getting started again. Thanks!
