Daily /r/Poker Discussion Thread - April 14, 2016

Had my first winning night in 10 days last night. Hopefully the bleeding has stopped, back at plo100 due to bankroll concerns(withdrew and then downswing). Won 2.5 buyins, but I've had serious mental issues. I haven't been quiting when I'm mentally tired and have made a lot of stupid mistakes because of the fact. I think I'm over the tilt issue mentally, that's been 95% minimized but didn't think about just playing when I shouldn't be. Focusing on putting way to much volume in at the cost of my game and $$.

At this point I'm down about 3k from the beginning of the month. Some of that is situationally running like garbage, made a post about that earlier this month, running bad ev wise (i'm at least 2k down in EV from actual winnings), and playing very poorly(lot of my C-game and just not adjusting back to the 100-game after playing like 4k hands of 3/6).

Bonus bad beat from this weekend Background: bought in for 300 because I thought there were 4 maniacs on the table who wanted to give away their money. I've ran it up to ~1200 prior to the start of the hand (from memory so numbers may be slightly off):

(5-10 plo 9-max bovada)

UTG+1 limps (1k stack)

folds to hero on btn who has AQJTds who pots it to 45 (1.2k stack)

sb calls 45 (1.5k stack)

BB 3-bets pot to 255 (500 stack)

UTG+1 calls

Hero calls (utg+1 and sb are two huge fish, no way am I folding)

sb calls

Flop: KJ9r (pot of 1020) (Hero has two backdoor flush draws)

Sb checks:

BB shoves (bet of 250)

UTG+1 folds

Hero calls 250

SB goes all in for remaining

Hero calls the ~750 left.

SB turns over: KTJx no flush draws (top two with gutshot)

BB turns over: AKKx with a backdoor flush draw (top set)

Hero turns over: AQJT ds with two backdoor flush draws. (nut straight)

Hero has 75% equity in main pot (~1800)

Hero has 92% equity in side pot (~1.5k)

Turn J

River 8o

BB wins main pot with kings full of jacks

SB wins side pot jacks full of kings

Hero cries
