I'm stuck as someone who likes parts of both big parties, but despises the remainder of both.
My ideal party is vigorously "pro" all of these things:
Guns, drugs, self defense, police accountability, abortions, property rights, accessible legal immigration, voter identification, secular governance, capitalism, environmental protection, freedom of religion and speech, progressive taxation, fiscal responsibility, military readiness, free trade, renewable energy.
(Just a few off the top of my head.)
Sadly, the two big parties pluck a few from this list, then go against the rest to wedge me one way or the other.
So I pick Libertarian candidates where possible, then split my votes amongst the big two otherwise.
