Daily Simple Questions Thread - September 06, 2018

Hello, I am trying to improve my strength training routine and considering switching away from the Starting Strength routine. I tried the starting strength program for the last 6 months, but between missing 1/2 the work outs, losing 22 lbs, and having done starting strength in the past, I have made no progress after the first two months.

Current Strength Training Routine:

Other Information

I've started doing 30 minutes of cardio (running) a day for the last month

I've lost 22 lbs this year (started @ 200 lbs in January)

I still plan to lose another 20 lbs

I have been able to lose weight using intermittent fasting (eat small meal at 12:30 PM and large meal at 6:00 PM), which has worked so far and would like to stick with it

I have access to free weights, power cage, and treadmill

Do you think I should continue with Starting Strength and stop missing days, or switch to a different program?
