Getting a new laptop. I know little about laptops, so this seems like the place to ask. I'm looking at identical configurations of the Dell XPS 15 and the MSI P65 Creator. Same specs and price. (i7 8th gen, 16gb RAM, 1050 Ti Max-Q, 256gb SSD, 15.6" 1080p display)

Is there any reason to get one over the other? I think the XPS looks more professional, and I imagine it might be easier to work with Dell if there's a problem. On the other hand, the MSI has a lot more vents on the side, which would seem to indicate superior thermals. I plan on doing some light gaming (Overwatch/Civilization), so I'll be pushing it, and my current Surface Pro 3 throttles terribly, so I know just how bad it can get.
