Daily Simple Questions Thread - October 08, 2021

Exercise, both weights and cardio, has been shown in thousands of studies to be a mood enhancer and to even cure depression. Its sometimes hard to start a routine but it gets easier the longer you keep going. Ive been following some type of weekly routine for over 10 years straight now with my longest hiatus being 2 weeks from having covid, and even then i did some pushups here and there. Is every single workout an absolute joy? Fuck no, but over all i love it and i love seeing myself improve more than anything. Its massively beneficial to mental health. Even with a hurt shoulder you could do some cardio and ab work, find excercises you can tolerate, i promise no one "hates" working out once youre used to it, thats jus not how the human brain and body is designed
