Daily Tech Support Thread [October 22]

I made a post about this but apparently it wasn't good enough to not be removed instantaneously.

I bought a two pack of apple earpods from Amazon back on Prime Day for $10. I thought it was a good deal. I waited until my old earpods wore out to begin using them, which was just a few days ago.

I start using these new earpods but they're noticably sub-par. The cords feel worse and are already getting pointed creases, they're obviously worse quailty compared to other earpods. Also, I get static sounds from them at times and the sound is a lot less quality compared to my old earpods. They also conducted some static electricity from my coat the other day and shocked my ears. I've never had that problem with my old earpods.

I'm wondering if anyone else bought the same deal on Prime Day. I'm convinced that the earpods they sold that day we're deliberately sub-par.
