Daily Tech Support Thread

Just got a new Macbook Air, and I have problems getting my usual click and drag behaviour.

Before I use to click on a window, move, click, so in total it was 3 motions.

In my new macbook I have 2 behaviors, either click drag release, all in one motion, or thumb down and then finger to move.

I want to get again my old behavior, so 3 motions, but I am confused. Going through accessibility, trackpad options, enable dragging, with or without drag lock, this doesn't seem to do anything. I have also played a bit with system preferences, trackpad, but nothing.

I am confused because checking videos on youtube, it seems I should be able to activate this through trackpad options enable dragging, but no idea why it is not working for me.
