I'm from Andhra. To be fair, the Telangana dialect that was joked over once, was an old funny slang. It is still laughed upon just like any stereotypical Andhra slang (godavari district, srikakulam etc) The difference now is that Vijay Devarakonda, Tarun Bhaskar and chill guys like them introduced Telangana slang in a very coherent and sexy way. This new style of Telangana language is NOT what everyone laughed upon in the past. Yes there are many andhra people who hate Telangana slang just because of regional issues just like how you have Telangana people who hate andhra for regional issues. But majority of Andhra people like myself are waiting to promote and follow any good TELUGU content regardless of where it came from. I know this sub is heavily Telangana / Hyderabad so I just wanted to clarify how the "made funny" Telangana slang is different from the current stylish Telangana slang that is being portrayed heavily in the movies. It has nothing to do with separation.
