Dame is number 10 on ESPN’s NBA player ranking

Of course, and I think OKC fans are right to love him like they do, especially after KD's whole thing.

It's super impressive that he's able to get triple doubles, but I don't think those triple doubles translate to as many wins as they should. People talk about that aspect of his game as though they do though.

He's incredibly talented, and he can do things that few others in the league can. I think that's why he's rated where he is. I think he's overrated because it often seems like he's exclusively trying to do those things, and, if he played within the flow of the game more, it seems like his team would win more, score easier, but he'd get fewer triple doubles. Hard to blame him though. I can imagine how it'd be difficult to see the value in doing anything else when you're able to do so much and always feel like you're the best option. It feels like almost as often as he's able to drag his team to a win, he exhausts himself by the 4th and they lose because nobody else on the team is warm since he's been doing everything. I've seen them build leads in games by dumping it down to Adams and letting him go to work. Gets him going. Allows Russ to rest on offense. Keeps the defense on their toes though bc Russ will still go coast to coast if he gets a good pass or rebound off a missed shot. Only happens on occasion though. Should be part of a regular flow. In essence, I'm saying I think his team would be way better if he picked his spots more rather than always going 100mph. I know that's what a lot of people think is great about him though. I'm not sure if this properly conveys my thoughts or not. It just feels like his abilities aren't translating to as many wins as they should, imo. It feels like people rate him on his abilities without considering how many wins they translate to.
