You're basing all of your comments here on looking at the box scores and just really arguing to argue at this point. You clearly didn't read what I said or are just stubborn as hell when it comes to basketball discussion.

Scottie played "the second most minutes to put them in the ECF"

Scottie played 217 minutes, as did Horace Grant. Cartwright played 212, and Hodges played 209.. It's not like he was their second option.

Jordan averaged 36/9.5/8 and put up 2.5 steals and 1.3 blocks against the Knicks -- acting like Scottie was the thing that pushed them over the edge in that series is absurd and you're just doubling down on his legacy/name over his actual effectiveness.

Scottie didn't even make an all-defense team period until two years after this playoff series, and yet you wanna say this:

while being an elite best in the league defender.
