Damian Lillard's incredible showing vs Houston Rockets: 71 points 6 rebounds 6 assists on 22-38 shooting and 13-22 shooting from 3, and 14-14 from the FT Line in 37 minutes

I'm sorry, but I really can't agree with your read about the "resistance". They did let him score whatever he wanted in the first half when the record wasn't really in play (cause they suck at defense and so do the Blazers). But they doubled and triple teamed him in the second half. Just cause he is fast and can blow by most players does not mean no one is even trying. Let's not pretend he didn't drive to the rim against all the other teams in the last 12 games, including all the games Blazers lost. Not every team has Jrue Holiday or Lu Dort to lock him out. If you ever watched him before you know, he doesn't stat pad or chase records, otherwise he'd be over 61 many times before, he gets hot and shoots 8 threes in a row but then he sits during blow outs. And if you watched Blazers this season you also know they blow every single lead they have every time the starters sit and now they dont even have half the starters. Every. Single. Time. So it takes some real balls to claim the game was never in question when it was actually +5 with 7:24 left on the clock. You said that, not me, and supposedly you watched the game. Dame sits 4th quarter and the Blazers lose this, it's that simple. Leave my butt out of your bad takes.
